New date due for Crofton Lake league match
Sport on all but the biggest lakes has again come to a halt due to the latest spell of sub zero temperatures, and many of the county’s smaller more-sheltered still waters hadn’t fully thawed out following the last big freeze.

Mike takes honours with a 4lb 5oz cod
HARRINGTON Sea Angling Club held their latest match between Workington and Whitehaven fishing in strong South Westerly winds between 2:30pm and 6:30pm on Sunday. Fourteen anglers fished 2 hours of the ebb tide and 2 hours of flood tide catching 25 cod, rockling and one dog fish.
