Promotion is the goal, not Wembley

You have to feel sympathy for Carlisle United losing out to Bristol Rovers in the dying moments of the game last weekend.
But with the talent available at Brunton Park and under the guidance of a positive manager, I expect to see the Blues up there in the thick of the promotion battle come April.
The breaks will come and the league table can quickly change. It’s a little early to be writing United off.
Hopefully, the players will find it possible to resist the lure of Wembley interfering with their concentration on the main task – promotion.
