A NORTH Cumbrian has been re-opened following a crash with police asking the public to use 'alternative routes until further notice'.
In a statement Cumbria police said: "The RTC we have been dealing with on the A6071 road between Longtown and Brampton has been resolved, the road is now open and traffic is fine."
Previously, Cumbria police reported that the A6071 from Longtown to Brampton is closed while police deal with a collision along the route.
The police have asked the public to use alternative routes until further notice.
In a statement on social media, Cumbria police said: "Cumbria Police are dealing with an RTC on the A6071 road from Longtown to Brampton, road is currently closed while we deal with the incident.
"More updates to follow, please use alternative routes until further notice."
