A WORKINGTON man is facing a trial after he denied an allegation of voyeurism.
Peter Irving, 38, appeared before a judge at Carlisle Crown Court, where he formally entered a not guilty plea to an allegation which alleges he committed the offence and was motivated by a desire to obtain sexual gratification.
It allegedly happened on January 6 last year in Workington, say prosecutors.
Judge Nicholas Barker ruled that the trial will get underway on February 10 next year. It is expected to last for two days. Irving was granted bail until that date.
The defendant, of Northumberland Street, Workington, was represented by defence barrister Kim Whittlestone during the brief hearing and he spoke only to confirm his personal details to enter his not guilty plea.
