A council in Cumbria is calling on people to apply to become councillors.
There are 15 councillors to be elected to Wetheral Parish Council.
A spokesperson from the council said: “If you have strong views on matters such as planning/new housing developments in our villages, road safety, speeding, local playgrounds/playing fields, rights of way and the care and maintenance of green spaces in our villages, would you be willing to step forward and make a difference?
“If the answer is ‘yes’, then please become a parish councillor.”
Nomination forms are available from the clerk by emailing clerk@wetheralparishcouncil.org.uk or elections@cumberland.gov.uk
