HOW THEY MET: In Freedom nightclub six years ago.
PROPOSAL: Dale asked Stacey’s mother for her daughter’s hand and then proposed during a meal.
VENUE: St James’s Church on July 12.
THEME: Plum, cream, silver.
BRIDE’S OUTFIT: Strapless corset dress decorated in beads with a train, diamante tiara and veil.
GROOMSMEN: Neil Saville, 22, was best man. Paul Lindsay, 30, Ian Simpson, 28, Jonnie Simpson, 22, and the groom’s brother-in-law Derek Adams, 32, were ushers. The groom and the best man wore grey frock jackets and the groomsmen wore black Prince Edward jackets with cream and plum waistcoats and cravats.
BRIDESMAIDS: Heather Irving, 23, was best woman. The bride’s sister Michelle Kerr, 20, and the groom’s sister Laura Adams, 26, were bridesmaids. They wore knee-length, plum-coloured dresses. Holly Glen-dinning, three, was a flowergirl and wore an ivory dress.
FLOWERS: The bride had a hand-tied bouquet of red roses, the bridesmaids had ivory roses, all decorated with clear diamantes and made by family friend Jean Hind.
TRANSPORT: A vintage style Rolls Royce and a Mercedes S class from Silver Lady Wedding Cars, Longtown.
RECEPTION: Carlisle Racecourse for drinks in the Red Rum bar and a meal for 87 with an additional 143 guests in the evening.
TABLE SETTINGS: Red and white flower arrangements and scented candles.
FAVOURS: Chanel-scented bath bombs wrapped in plum-coloured bags for the women, and scratch cards in silver envelopes for the men.
CAKE: A three-tier cake decorated with iced flowers and made by Gillian Marrs, of Mealsgate.
FIRST DANCE: Amazed by Lonestar.
ENTERTAINMENT: Monty’s discos.
HONEYMOON: Mexico.
