HOW THEY MET: In Mary Ellen’s pub in Gosforth in 2001.
PROPOSAL: Shane surprised Debbie with a solitaire diamond ring at the bottom of a glass of champagne at home on December 6, 2003.
VENUE: Abbey House Hotel, Barrow, on May 4.
THEME: Pink.
BRIDE’S OUTFIT: A Jenny Packham ivory silk gown with tulle overlay decorated with mother of pearl buttons, crystal beads and pearls.
GROOMSMEN: Tony Park was best man. Paul Campbell and Darren Thompson were ushers. The bride and groom’s five-month-old son Oliver Rowe and the groom’s nephew four-year-old Kian Rowe were page boys.
BRIDESMAIDS: Hazel Clarke was chief bridesmaid. Georgia Clarke, 11, and the groom’s niece Courtney Rowe, 10, were bridesmaids.
FLOWERS: A bouquet of pink roses with crystal beads.
RECEPTION: Champagne and strawberry reception at the hotel followed by a wedding breakfast for 110 guests.
TABLE SETTINGS: Pink and cream roses and lilies.
FAVOURS: Personalised boxes of Thorntons chocolates for the ladies and scratch cards for the men.
CAKE: A three-tier cake with fruit and sponge layers decorated with pink ribbon and flowers.
FIRST DANCE: Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol.
ENTERTAINMENT: Heartbeat Disco from Barrow.
HONEYMOON: Edinburgh.
