It's the end of a lively era for St Aidan's School in the centre of Carlisle - one of several schools closing in a major shake- up of secondary education in the city.
159 Prizewinners from 1966 at the Carlisle and County High School for Girls. With comprehensive education it became St Aidan's in 1966
The Lismore Place school was originally built as the Carlisle and County High School for Girls and opened 100 years ago.
St Aidan's closes this summer when it will be replaced by Richard Rose Central Academy.
