ASPATRIA YFC: There are two meetings this week, Monday April 28 will be the mock auction at Messrs Bell, Low Blaithwaite and Tuesday April 29 is at Messrs Parkin, Fieldside, Birkby to judge prime lambs.
BRAMPTON YFC: The next meeting will be on Tuesday April 29. Meeting at the Market Place, Brampton at 7.15pm we will then be attending a ‘mock auction’ at Thomas Moscrop’s farm. Anyone who has ordered a jumper or T-shirt, please bring their money with them.
RAUGHTON HEAD YFC: Thank you to the Mitchinson family for hosting the stockjudging on April 17. First was Nicola Wilkinson. Next stockjudging is April 29 at Brough’s Buckabank Farm, 7.30pm. Anyone wanting to support us at Blackpool for the national final of the entertainment competition on May 4, please contact Richard Potts on 07900 565306.
WIGTON YFC: On Monday we judged lamb carcasses by kind permission of Harrison’s butchers, Wigton. Master judge was Stephen Stoddart. On Tuesday we judged prime lambs by kind permission of the Jefferson family, Abbey Cooper. Master judge was Geoff Riley. On Tuesday April 29 we are going to judge store cattle at Messrs Peile’s, Pasture House, Bolton Low Houses. Meet there at 7.30pm prompt.
