Included in the sale were the Dispersal of 43 Lead of Simmental cattle from Mr J Kirk, High Mainshead, Dumfries. A Large Crowd Present ensured that the stock was keenly bid for with the top price of £1350 Paid for a Simmental Cow with Bull Calf at foot to Mr H Rorison, Clonrae, Tynron. The 4 Year Old Stock Bull also sold well £2200 to Glenkiln Farms, Dumfries. The two Young Bulls on offer realised £1850 & £1800 respectively.

Store Cattle trade remained good for all classes, strong Cattle keenly sought, Quality was mixed
