The British Limousin Cattle Society’s 25th annual May sale was held at the Borderway Mart on Saturday. There were fewer entries this year because of the bluetongue restrictions but this did not affect the prices.

The sale average reached £5,048.40 for the 125 bulls on offer.

There were also a number of females on offer and the sale grossed £710,060.
