Connolly’s thrilling date

‘Master of macabre, author John Connolly will be signing copies of his new novel, The Reapers, at Waterstones, Carlisle, on Thursday, May 22, at noon. His debut, Every Dead Thing (1999), which introduced his tormented private detective, Charlie Parker, swiftly launched him into the front rank of thriller writers. All his subsequent novels have been Sunday Times bestsellers and he was the first non-American writer to win the US Shamus award.
