Huntington should have been sent off

I WOULD like to give my verdict on Carlisle United’s 3-2 defeat at Leeds recently.

Paul Huntington photo
Paul Huntington taunts the Carlisle fans at Elland Road

All through the first half he completely ignored the blatant fouling of Carlisle United’s centre forward, Danny Graham and he awarded numerous free kicks to Leeds for innocuous challenges.

He was the worst referee I have seen for many years. Worst of all was when he completely ignored the blatant obscene gesture from Paul Huntingdon to the Carlisle supporters after Leeds had scored the equaliser.

In my book Huntington should have been red carded. When you consider that he was born in Carlisle I think his behaviour was disgusting.

In contrast, the behaviour of the Carlisle supporters was beyond reproach.

A fair result would have been a draw.

Up The Blues.
