Wigton karter Aaron Mansergh narrowly missed out on a win at Cumbria Kart Racing Club’s December meeting at Rowrah.
Mansergh started in pole position in the Junior TKM final, but dropped back a place in lap five to be overtaken by rival Lisa Playfair.
And she had enough in the tank to bag the win, just ahead of Mansergh at the finishing line.
Sam Taylor started down in fifth but got a good start and was third by the end of the first lap. He maintained this position until the end of the race to finish ahead of Lewis Raine.
In the Mini max/Junior Blue final, starting from pole Kyle Fowlie led every lap of the race to win by the narrowest of margins from Jordan Houghton, with Matthew Hopps third and Liam Morley fourth.
In the Cadet final, Alfonzo Skriczka won from Adam Mackay, ahead of Hingley, Nathan Aston and Brandon Williams.
In the Junior Rotax final Jamie Gair started in first but dropped back to fourth, allowing Andy King to take the front and finish ahead of Daniel Tate and Barriw Pullinger.
John Stewart started on pole in the Rotax final and led every lap of the race to finish ahead of Christopher Grieve, Andrew Harvie and Andrew Park.
In the KF1/KF2 final Jake Ball started in first but dropped behind Patryk Szczerbinski and eventual winner Max Hawkins on lap eight to take third place. Alexander Albon was the winner of the FK3 final, ahead of Jack Vanderpump and Craig Mitchell, with Callum Bowyer fourth.
