Tourism firm gets room with a view

A ROOM with a view is certainly what a Tynedale tourism business has secured in its latest move.

Steve Reed Tourism Ltd has been flying the flag for the region’s tourism businesses for 10 years and has recently moved to a new office within the popular Corbridge Business Centre complex in Tinklers Yard, next door to Corbridge railway station.

And the chance to move to a slightly bigger office has opened up brand new vistas for husband and wife team Steve and Judith Reed.

Steve explained: “'The view from the newly created office is so good it’s almost distracting.

“We used to have only the occasional sheep to look at through our old window but now we have the whole historic panorama of Corbridge town visible through our window – 180 degrees, everything from the Roman Fort to our favourite pub The Dyvels.”

Joint owner of Corbridge Business Centre, Miles Joyce, said: “We find that our tenants really like the beautiful and ever-changing scene on show from some of the office windows here at Tinklers Yard.

“We’ve been here for around five years now and we never grow tired of the views, although we don't have much time to appreciate them.”
