Time the chefs cleaned up

I agree entirely with Ross Brewster’s opinion concerning the frequent and increasing use of deplorably vile language on the television, especially in certain feature films and series (News & Star, November 20).
The use of the F word, in particular, is nauseating.
The fault lies with the television authorities who ought to make severe cuts in cinema films and TV programmes.
At least you do not get this kind of stuff on BBC Radio 4 or the BBC World Service, although some lavatory style humour has been prevalent on BBC Radio 4 for some time, I regret to say.
As for TV cooks Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver, management should warn them of their foul-mouthed expletives, or else face instant dismissal.
They would hardly be missed.
