Salterbeck School reunion

FORMER pupils of Salterbeck School in Workington met up to talk about the past.

Stories of school days were swapped around a pub table at The Well, Washington Street.

The night was organised by Helen Wilson and Annette Reid for the class of 1984.

Helen, 40, said: “We had a brilliant night telling tales and talking about our times at school.”

More than 40 ex-pupils turned up to enjoy the catch-up, including some from as far away as London, Scotland and Wales.

Helen added: “It was great to see so many faces from the past. It was interesting to find out how everyone was and what they are up to now.”

It was the first meeting of the former friends.
