Riding Mill news

THE Riding Mill Drama Club’s play, Holiday Snap, will be performed in the parish hall on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (November 26, 27 & 28) next week.

There are still numbers of seats available on Wednesday and Thursday, but only a very few left for Friday.
The play, by Michael Pertwee and John Chapman is very funny and should appeal to all.
Tickets available from Anne Lawrence and the show starts at 7.30pm.

BROOMHAUGH First School’s Christmas fair is on Sunday, December 14.
We have had confirmation from the Big Man himself that he will be making a whirlwind visit and as usual there will be lots of stalls for children and parents alike and seasonal refreshments in the school hall. All welcome.

LAST week we published a report of the annual meeting of Riding Mill Village Hall Trust, which implied there were vacancies for the position of secretary and treasurer.
We are happy to clarify that Pam Pryor and Rosie Cummings hold the respective positions for the coming year, and apologise for any confusion we may have caused.
