The game managed to go ahead despite the horrendous weather the previous day, a testament to the quality of the new pitches at Cockermouth.

The teams were 2-2 at the end of normal time, with both sides having created lots of chances, playing some attractive passing football.

Cockermouth eventually managed to win the game 5-2 in extra time.

The Cockermouth goals came from captain Mark Sloan (2), winger Liam Taylor and striker Brett McMillan. The fifth was an own goal.
