Avon manager wins journey on luxury train

A Carlisle woman won a trip on the Orient Express thanks to her sales expertise.

Linda Whyte has been named one of the top 50 Avon area managers.
She beat off competition from hundreds of colleagues to achieve some of the highest number of sales this year.
As a reward the cosmetics company organised a day trip to Bath on the luxury train.
Avon executive director of sales Richard Pinnock says it was a gesture of thanks for Linda’s hard work and dedication.
Linda said: “Travelling on the Orient Express was amazing – a real once-in-a-lifetime experience.”
