Blues and Balance are teaming up

CARLISLE United is linking up with a Cumbrian sportswear firm to allow its fans to get kitted out like their star players.

All of the club’s players have been supplied with training shoes by Flimby footwear manufacturer New Balance (NB).

And the fans will get the chance to do the same when NB returns to Brunton Park with a sales marquee for the Blues’ game against Leicester City.

Carlisle United managing director John Nixon said: “We are really pleased to have teamed up with New Balance as a local company. It’s great that two sporting organisations in Cumbria can work together like this.

“There are obvious mutual benefits, but we are also confident that the arrangement will also bring advantages to our supporters and hopefully save them some money.”
