Former chief executive of the H&H Group, Trevor Hebden, has been named an associate partner with recruitment firm Fortnum Select.

Mr Hebden spent 27 years with Barclays Bank before taking the top job at H&H in 1999.

He joined Castle Douglas-based Fortnum Select, led by entrepreneur Nigel Fortnum, last month.

Mr Fortnum said: “This is a real coup for Fortnum Select. To attract a businessman of such experience and profile is testament to our reputation and heralds an exciting new phase for us.

“I am thrilled that Trevor is bringing his skills and vision to the business.”

Mr Hebden said: “I have known Nigel for nearly 10 years and during that time I have seen how he successfully applies recruitment techniques to ensure desired outcomes.

“I am very much looking forward to working with Nigel and his team at Fortnum Select, who offer innovative recruitment solutions to meet individual client requirements.”
