They will feature in a strong Blues reserve side against Blackpool (Brunton Park, 7pm) knowing first-team places are up for grabs after three defeats in a row.

Myrie-Williams and Bridges both impressed as second-half subs in Saturday’s defeat at Walsall and could be given their first League One starts against Tranmere next weekend. Cleveland Taylor, Chris Howarth, Luke Joyce, Josh Gowling, Jeff Smith, Gary Madine and Darren Campion are also likely to play tonight, while West Cumbrian midfielder Stuart Green could figure for Blackpool.
