Power Ranger John Paul grabs 24 points

EGREMONT RANGERS’ John Paul Brocklebank racked up 24 points in a 38-6 demolition of Crosfields at Gilfoot Park.

The scoring machine ran in three tries and kicked six goials as Rangers roared into fourth spot in the National Conference division two.

Warren Stainton weighed in with try and a goal and touchdowns for Dane Weatherill and Rhys Davies completed the rout.

Richard Farrer picked up the official man of the match award with some great barging runs, creating the chances for Brocklebank to score his three tries.

Ben Walker also had a good game in the second row, running some good lines and off-loading well.

Now Egremont hope to keep up their good form when they travel to Eccles and Salford Juniors next Saturday.

nWATH BROW HORNETS are still on top of division one, after they drew with second placed Widnes St Maries 30-30.
