West Cumbria Trades Hall Centre

THE CENTRE now has two new exciting projects beginning in partnership with TWL, operating as 13-week rolling programmes.

Firstly the ‘Engagement to Access Employment’ programme includes motivation and self- confidence workshops, budgeting and personal development, visits to employers and training providers, image makeover and healthy eating, social events and the opportunity to gain up to £200 in vouchers. And secondly the ‘Cumbria Employability Skills and Training’ programme, which covers employability skills, a motivational course, CV and job search skills, undertaking a short certificated course, social events, a two-week work placement and the opportunity to gain up to £200 in vouchers. Childcare and travel expenses are paid on both of the above programmes.

We are also running another new 13-week Employability Skills Programme in partnership with Igen, where you will be given the opportunity to undertake qualifications in literacy, numeracy and employability skills, along with work experience / taster sessions.
