Lakes College: people people!

LAKES College has been awarded the Investors in People award for the second year running. The assessor, Ian Hartley, said there was a strong drive to provide personal and career development opportunities for everyone.
Mr Hartley,who spent several days at the college, went on to praise Cath Richardson’s effectiveness as a principal.
He said: “The new principal has striven to maintain an open culture and involve people at all levels.
“She and her executive team have made considerable efforts to become more visible by holding dedicated question and answer sessions in which she updates people on college performance and other key issues.”
