Television chef cooks up a feast

TV CHEF Paul Rankin will be demonstrating his skills at next weekend’s Langholm Food Festival.

Around 50 stalls based in and around the Food Festival Market Hall at the Eskdale Sports Centre will be selling a wide variety of produce, traditional Scottish fayre, cookery-related crafts, books and products.

The hall will include an area showcasing food producers local to the Langholm and Eskdale area who form the backbone of the regular Langholm Producers Market, the largest farmers market in Dumfries and Galloway.

Ready Steady Cook regular Rankin will be touring the Festival Market Hall in the morning, and cooking up a feast of local delights later in the day at The Buccleuch Centre.

The Festival takes place on Sunday, August 17, starting at 10am.

For more information, contact the Buccleuch Centre on 013873 81196 or at www.buccleuchcentre.com.
