Olympic star in Cumbria

DOUBLE Olympic silver medallist Jeanette Brakewell will be in action at this weekend’s Cumwhinton Horse Trials, near Carlisle.
Despite persistent rain, organisers insist there is no threat to the event, run over two days.
Host Diane Bainbridge said: “The ground is absolutely great and we will definitely run.”
