Looking for a new team?

STANWIX Girls football team in Carlisle are looking for new players for the forthcoming season.
The club, which has just been awarded the prestigious Charter Standard status, will field two teams for the 2008/09 season, playing in the U14 and U16 age groups.
Team manager Andy Small said: “No matter what ability you have or even if you have never played for a team but fancy having a go, you are very welcome.
“We are a very sociable and friendly group and even if you are joining on your own we will make you feel part of a team.“
