Team manager Barry Israel said: “The boys have had a remarkable season, losing only one game in total in all the Cumbria League fixtures and North of England tournaments. This was in the Vale of Lune festival final against Warrington.

“In many tournaments and festivals the team played in several games where the opposition failed to score against us.

“Many boys in this team have been playing together for a number of years and we have also welcomed some new players this season.

“Their achievement is extraordinary.

“They play entertaining, skilful rugby and this bodes well for the future of rugby union at Carlisle.

“We are looking forward to continuing our success next season as clubs Under-13 side.”
