IN this edition of nostalgia we are looking back at Currock Bowling Club throughout the years.
Currock Bowling Club was an active club until 2011 when it closed.
The Rock Youth Project in Currock later found a new home at the former Currock Bowling Club in 2014. A team of volunteers including Carlisle MP John Stevenson helped to spruce up the site which has stood unused for three years.
July 31 2023 saw the Rock officially say goodbye to their old premises with a farewell party, with the green huts at the Bowling Club set to be demolished to make way for the new facilities.
